Why doesn’t a drivers license expire at old age?! I know of a older person that tried parallel parking, only to realize that the spot was already taken, for hours, by another car!
dear appleface:
I have a better question: Why shouldn’t the license expire for any drunk driver who smashes into a car? Why do we read about accidents happening and then discover that the driver who caused it has a record of a zillion offenses?
I am over 80 years old and have never had an accident. I have driven over 500,000 miles in my lifetime. Should I lose my right to drive just because I am old??
You remind me of the people who have suggested that once a person reaches 80 years of age, He should be painlessly sent off to his final resting place!!
Dear Izzyg,
Maybe you should read that 1st comment one more time. He does not discuss pulling the plug on older people. He only mentioned driving.
Do not put words into his mouth.
By the way, did you ever take the drive safety course that the AARP advises for all elderly people ?
Dear R’ izzyg, I’m Sorry for hurting your feelings. May You have continues Health עד מאה ועשרים שנה! I really just meant that at some age, everybody should have to renew and retake their road test. But don’t worry, you’ll pass with flying colors! Btw one of the חסרונות of Lakewood is, that their aren’t enough older people living there.
